1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CompressYogi ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

CompressYogi provides free online tools for file compression and optimization. These include but are not limited to:

Image compression (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, SVG, GIF)
Document compression (PDF)
Video and audio compression
Archive compression (ZIP)

All compression is performed locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or process your files on our servers.

3. Free Use

Our tools are free for both personal and commercial use. You may use them to compress files for:

Personal projects and websites
Business and commercial purposes
Educational purposes
Any other lawful purpose

We may introduce premium features in the future, but core compression functionality will remain free.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the files you process using our tools. We claim no ownership or rights to your content.

Our Service: CompressYogi and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AppsYogi and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or completeness of results

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that compression results will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppsYogi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, or use
Goodwill or other intangible losses
Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AppsYogi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AppsYogi operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
